The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Armilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valery Grau to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Bogren in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froilan Dimas saved Armilla from getting behind. Stig Söderquist hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Kristoffer Västerstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Laredo in the 22nd minute of the match. If Stefan Bogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the match, Armilla's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Bogren came free, but Froilan Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Lidköping's Stefan Bogren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Armilla's zone, Stefan Bogren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Dimas came out of the goal and Stefan Bogren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the match, Stefan Bogren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Froilan Dimas, 2-1. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Natal Teruel with Alberto Campillo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Kristoffer Västerstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valery Grau in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Lidköping booed when Armilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Cyrille N'Diaye didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Bogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Froilan Dimas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

If Stefan Bogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 52nd minute Stefan Bogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristoffer Västerstrand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Sidoro in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Mårtensson in the 59th minute of play forced Armilla's goalkeeper Froilan Dimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Froilan Dimas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Bogren's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Lidköping were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Armilla's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Allan Björk took the corner. After taking down the ball on Lidköping's corner Allan Björk fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Froilan Dimas quite easily take care of the ball. Natal Teruel kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Armilla's Froilan Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Bogren in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Bogren in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Dimas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the match, Lidköping's goalkeeper Kristoffer Västerstrand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Sidoro. Santiago Sidoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Kristoffer Västerstrand made a huge save. Valery Grau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristoffer Västerstrand having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Adam Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lidköping's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Mårtensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Dimas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lidköping's attentive Dariusz Puchlik managed to snatch the ball when Natal Teruel made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. Froilan Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Bogren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Armilla's zone, Adam Mårtensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Dimas came out of the goal and Adam Mårtensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Stefan Bogren sped through Armilla's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Froilan Dimas. Lidköping's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
