The audience thought a goal was coming when Qu Ling Lin got free with Istvan Kowalski in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gencal Olgaç was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of EL MAGO ONEILL booed when Poppy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gencal Olgaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Poppy FC defense, Jasper Goemyne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Latif Hanif. The Poppy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Latif Hanif should have stopped the shot. Latif Hanif didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when EL MAGO ONEILL's Jasper Goemyne shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jasper Goemyne to strike the kick off in the second half.
