Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Egbert Nijveldt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Béla Hudák quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Meesters during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sakálok made a substitution. Ariel Bartoleme replaced Anfilogino Contaldi. Béla Hudák showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 18th minute of the match. After 43 minutes, József Varsányi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sakálok and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, József Varsányi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Bartoleme, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caspar Motter to make the kick off. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Béla Hudák read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caspar Motter in the 55th minute of the match. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Béla Hudák made a huge save. 82 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Caspar Motter came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Béla Hudák showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Béla Hudák in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Sakálok's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Béla Hudák came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
