Hungary's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Nigel Andermatt scored to the left of an out of position Fodor Daniel, making the score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sylvain Witschard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lukas Christen hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Sylvain Witschard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sylvain Witschard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 19th minute of play. FC Totenteich's Sylvain Witschard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 27th minute of play. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Totenteich's goalkeeper Sylvain Witschard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sylvain Witschard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 34th minute of play. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvain Witschard having to interfere. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvain Witschard having to interfere. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after FC Totenteich's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sylvain Witschard quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvain Witschard having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Sylvain Witschard made a huge save. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nigel Andermatt, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A hard shot 56 in the game by Antal Valentin from a close distance when the talented Sylvain Witschard managed to make a qualified save. FC Totenteich's players were relieved. In the 61st match minute, FC Totenteich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigel Andermatt to maneuver through the defense. Sylvain Witschard was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, FC Totenteich's Sylvain Witschard got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 78 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antal Valentin in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Sylvain Witschard in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
