Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) 4 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Lionel Paly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tory Pryor kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Netherlands booed when FC Wil 1900 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philipp Santagapita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lionel Paly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Paly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tory Pryor. After a rather tough play, FC Wil 1900's Friedrich Nietzsche got a free kick in the 21st minute. Emery Heller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lionel Paly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 28th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pirmin Jäggi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. Lionel Paly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Rosa came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tory Pryor made the kick off in the second half. Lionel Paly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Téo Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Paly having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Rosa came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Wil 1900 were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emilio De Luca took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Wil 1900's corner Téo Rosa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. In the 67th minute, Pirmin Jäggi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Wil 1900 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 70 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer. After having played for 81 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pirmin Jäggi, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, one of FC Wil 1900:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Wil 1900. Lionel Paly had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Gijsbert ter Kruimer's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 96th match minute, FC Wil 1900 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emery Heller to maneuver through the defense. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Wil 1900 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Netherlands for a fine match.
