Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Boncho Vlúchkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Boncho Vlúchkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boncho Vlúchkov saved Salmiyah Power from getting behind. In the 39th minute of the match, Doctor Quinn tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wim Wilmes charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wim Wilmes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wim Wilmes hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Salmiyah Power's Doctor Quinn got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Doctor Quinn to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Salmiyah Power's Boncho Vlúchkov got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dawid Kochowski's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Salmiyah Power's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boncho Vlúchkov came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doctor Quinn in the 64th minute of play. Boncho Vlúchkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Boncho Vlúchkov came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 71st minute. Salmiyah Power made a substitution. Rabah Azem replaced Brahim Kerkar. Salmiyah Power's Noureddine Abdenouz was substituted for Jeremias Ganix. In the 79th minute, Lars Meesters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Doctor Quinn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Mamaar Fergani came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boncho Vlúchkov made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 90th minute. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free and shot a quick shot against goal 90 minutes in the game, fortunately Boncho Vlúchkov had problems saving as it came toward the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 96th minute of play forced Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper Boncho Vlúchkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
