Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Mendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With splendid footwork Hernan Mendez arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Mendez in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Auer saved Austria from getting behind. Christian Wallner kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Hernan Mendez in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Auer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The wind increased when Sandro Galishoff made the kick off in the second half. Felix Jusepe was slow to take the kick. During this time Faraday FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Faraday FC's corner Teofilo Frasquito fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabio Auer quite easily take care of the ball. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Mendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marc Kronecker was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Marc Kronecker kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Hernan Mendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Faraday FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Faraday FC's Hernan Mendez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Mendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Teofilo Frasquito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Faraday FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Frasquito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Auer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ceferino Formerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Faraday FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
