Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Zuberbühler FC's Saul Baumer started the match with a crisp pass. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Lastur in the 16th minute. Marciano Min scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Napoleon Dziedelonis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Baumer in the 24th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Baumer in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Napoleon Dziedelonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 27th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Saul Baumer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Pimentel. Daniel Pimentel hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

54 minutes in the game Eduardo Vachon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Mariano Berart. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Baumer in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 56th minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Dziedelonis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Dziedelonis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Napoleon Dziedelonis made a huge save. The Zuberbühler FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
