After some careless play in the Germany defense, Maximilian Seemayer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, SteffosPojkar FF's Maximilian Seemayer got a free kick in the 38th minute. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Lund in the 41st minute of the match. After 47 minutes, German Baumer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SteffosPojkar FF and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Germany booed when SteffosPojkar FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Baumer didn't get a good kick on the ball. SteffosPojkar FF's Philip Molander was substituted for Erik Lund. SteffosPojkar FF's Lennart Grelsson was substituted for German Baumer. A collision led to SteffosPojkar FF getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. German Baumer hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lennart Grelsson to make the kick off. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Seemayer in the 54th minute of play. Napoleon Glozor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, SteffosPojkar FF's Lennart Grelsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 61st minute, Carl Di Canio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Di Canio in the 64th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Philip Molander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SteffosPojkar FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Sven-Philipp Ryaa kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Koronis Corona went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. 80 minutes into the match, Lennart Grelsson notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Carl Di Canio fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SteffosPojkar FF's protests and gave Carl Di Canio a yellow card for diving instead. Carl Di Canio kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albin Holweck got free with Hubert Ahlfors in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was beautiful to see Germany's Albin Holweck in action when he in the 96th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
