Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 14th minute of play. Meder Muños might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Meder Muños ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Intimos de Reynoso's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Meder Muños, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ovidio Roland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Intimos de Reynoso's Meder Muños sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Kees Mooiweer got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Intimos de Reynoso's goalkeeper Ovidio Roland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Intimos de Reynoso fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Intimos de Reynoso's Lope Quijana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Intimos de Reynoso had won after a very even match.
