Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Oshyros ll getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cristo Pedroso hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Egoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Fumo Pocock made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Oshyros ll's François Marotte was substituted for Cristian Egoitz. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Leandro Lucado in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Netherlands's David Eikelkamp. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Fumo Pocock made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by François Marotte in the 77th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Fumo Pocock in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute 孙翀轩 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Sal in the 85th minute of play.
