After a defensive mix-up in Mans's zone, Vincent Belly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Baudoin came out of the goal and Vincent Belly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Baudoin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Sébastien Marques in the 12th minute. After 13 played minutes Team Reunion974 got a freekick which was hit by Merlin Guénot. The crowd rose to their feet as Team Reunion974's Vincent Belly slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicolas Baudoin. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. A hard shot 18 in the game by Vincent Belly from a close distance when the talented Nicolas Baudoin managed to make a qualified save. Mans's players were relieved. 21 minutes into the game, Team Reunion974's Vincent Belly nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Baudoin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Nicolas Baudoin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Belly in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match, Sébastien Raillard got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicolas Baudoin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hassan Laisney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léonard Beauchamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Nicolas Baudoin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sébastien Raillard in the 37th minute. Hassan Laisney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léonard Beauchamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Sébastien Marques in the 46th minute of play forced Mans's goalkeeper Nicolas Baudoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Quentin Châtaignier's late challenge caught a Team Reunion974's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quentin Châtaignier helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mans's Quentin Châtaignier got a free kick in the 50th minute. Vincent Belly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Henri Verhille hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sébastien Raillard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Baudoin having to interfere. Nicolas Baudoin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joël Malbec, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Belly in the 80th minute of play forced Mans's goalkeeper Nicolas Baudoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Mans's Félicien Larose seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Félicien Larose the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mans protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Félicien Larose had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Félicien Larose kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Vincent Belly ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Baudoin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Nicolas Baudoin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sébastien Raillard in the 87th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Team Reunion974 had played much better football throughout.
