Jolan Galindo made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Dudu Georgescu sent off a good shot on target. Jolan Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanek Walczyk in the 13th minute of play. Roch Felenak took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Firmin Négrel. Firmin Négrel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 24th minute Roch Felenak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firmin Négrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Firmin Négrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Prestin, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Felenak in the 27th minute of play forced ANAHA FC's goalkeeper Firmin Négrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Georgescu in the 34th minute of play forced La Pointe Courte's goalkeeper Jolan Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Ahmet Korkut Sinan in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Pointe Courte's Cidro Flores. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roch Felenak in the 38th minute of play forced ANAHA FC's goalkeeper Firmin Négrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Roch Felenak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Pointe Courte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 43 minutes into the game, Roch Felenak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Firmin Négrel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half La Pointe Courte were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roch Felenak made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roch Felenak got free with Firmin Négrel in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roch Felenak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Firmin Négrel having to make a save. Firmin Négrel made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Roch Felenak sent off a good shot on target. ANAHA FC's Djibril Herbaut got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ANAHA FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Roch Felenak scored to the left of an out of position Firmin Négrel, making the score, 0-4. Roch Felenak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Firmin Négrel made a huge save. Roch Felenak in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Firmin Négrel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Roch Felenak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Firmin Négrel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. The corner ended in Josué Pagueguy almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ANAHA FC's Firmin Négrel did a great save. Yves Leite might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Firmin Négrel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yves Leite ran back to his position shaking his head. ANAHA FC's Firmin Négrel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save ANAHA FC from getting a goal against them. La Pointe Courte's Pawel Harendarski was substituted for Josué Pagueguy. ANAHA FC's Ludovic Guillois was substituted for Francisco Ibañez. La Pointe Courte's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gianluca Prestin in the 79th minute. Benny Impens's late challenge caught a ANAHA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benny Impens helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Benny Impens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute Yves Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firmin Négrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ANAHA FC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when ANAHA FC's Cayetano Ponc looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, ANAHA FC's Firmin Négrel got control of the ball when Yves Leite tried to sneak it across the goal line. Firmin Négrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Prestin in the 90th minute of the match. If Yves Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yves Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Firmin Négrel made a huge save. When La Pointe Courte's Gianluca Prestin in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
