Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 邓思潮 during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Netherlands booed when ≮王者归来≯小赌怡情 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. 邓思潮 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Bas Tuitert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 朱风战 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when 邓思潮 got free with Arnout Reekers in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 徐青坚 in the 20th minute of the match. 朱风战 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ≮王者归来≯小赌怡情 getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. 余松城 hit a great ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 朱风战. ≮王者归来≯小赌怡情's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 28th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. 朱风战 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 朱风战. 朱风战 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. 朱风战 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. In the 50th minute ≮王者归来≯小赌怡情 were awarded a corner. 曲博远 went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on ≮王者归来≯小赌怡情's corner 曲博远 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 邓乐剑 made a kick off. After a rather tough play, ≮王者归来≯小赌怡情's 余松城 got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, 鲁默青 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind ≮王者归来≯小赌怡情's goalkeeper 朱风战, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 龙宇's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 龙宇 helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ≮王者归来≯小赌怡情's 龙宇 got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with 朱风战 in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 朱风战 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg 朱风战 managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but 朱风战 made a huge save. In the 79th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. After 80 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Kees Mooiweer. An unexpectedly hard shot by 曲博远 in the 82nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, 曲博远 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 曲博远 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 90 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯小赌怡情's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but 朱风战 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. ≮王者归来≯小赌怡情's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that ≮王者归来≯小赌怡情's 朱风战 managed to reach the ball for a save. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 93rd minute, Lars Meesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 94th minute. 97 minutes into the match, 邓乐剑 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 邓乐剑 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The Netherlands supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Netherlands would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
