The supporters of Italy booed when A4p FC Gad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Manzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Gică Busuioc took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
