In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Mehmet Akif Cerme threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
