In the 3rd minute, Olav Graversen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in ContraVersão's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Didi Tróia came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Sebastião Quintal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Elias Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. It was a well-played corner which Sebastião Quintal managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Pedro Luís Batista sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Sebastião Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 36th minute Sebastião Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute ContraVersão were awarded a corner. Patrick Salkvist went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on ContraVersão's corner Patrick Salkvist fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Keld Paulsen quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Batista got free with Keld Paulsen in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ContraVersão were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Denmark's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patrick Salkvist took the corner. Patrick Salkvist made a great header on ContraVersão's corner, it was just that Denmark's Keld Paulsen managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Elias Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Batista received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastião Quintal in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 59 played minutes ContraVersão got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Batista. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 65th minute, Gualter Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didi Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Elias Batista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The ContraVersão fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when ContraVersão's Elias Batista looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Sebastião Quintal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. After 88 minutes, Elias Batista made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Denmark's Keld Paulsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Walery Adamowicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Walery Adamowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, ContraVersão's Pedro Luís Batista got a free kick in the 94th minute. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Didi Tróia was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Denmark players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ContraVersão.
