The tension between the Bize Heryer Trabzon and the Serbia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Erenay Karakaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Bize Heryer Trabzon's Karadeniz İrem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zvezdan Nedeljkovic narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Bize Heryer Trabzon booed when Serbia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borjan Golubovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karadeniz İrem to make the kick off. In the 55th minute of the game Yiğitcan İçkin made a throw-in which Bilal Tekinsoy played forward. Recep Acarer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zvezdan Nedeljkovic having to interfere. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Drasko Rajkovic hit a great ball. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karadeniz İrem in the 63rd minute of the match. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Recep Acarer in the 65th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Bize Heryer Trabzon got a freekick which was hit by Boğaçhan Safir. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Sreten Popovic got a free kick in the 77th minute. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Recep Acarer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Recep Acarer in the 86th minute of play. Jovan Borisov was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Serbia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bize Heryer Trabzon:s goal. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Karadeniz İrem's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Erenay Karakaya might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erenay Karakaya ran back to his position shaking his head. Bize Heryer Trabzon's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
