The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pankracy Zajonc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save MZ Fénix from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Yuan Yuan in the 17th minute of play forced Dunakeszi Lake City's goalkeeper Ronny Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Tomasz Waldoch threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dunakeszi Lake City's József Földvári quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Pankracy Zajonc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Louis Ouaddou in the 23rd minute. A collision led to MZ Fénix getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Alexandre Valido hit a great ball. Jean-Louis Ouaddou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Pankracy Zajonc made a huge save. Adam Hubina kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Aras Görkem Kaymaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronny Engström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 49th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cai Yuan Yuan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Cai Yuan Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Dunakeszi Lake City's Ronny Engström got control of the ball when Cai Yuan Yuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pankracy Zajonc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Louis Ouaddou in the 87th minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, MZ Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomasz Waldoch to maneuver through the defense.

For all the effort they put into the match, the MZ Fénix players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dunakeszi Lake City.
