After a rather tough play, Baxters Boys's Maximilian Askestät got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olov Tham to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Olov Tham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Hoogsteen. ASV Muziekwijk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olov Tham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Baxters Boys fans cheered their team off the field, for while ASV Muziekwijk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
