The crowd rose to their feet as Sällskapet BK's Sture Sjöö slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Keld Paulsen. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. Risto Mihailovski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. Stellan Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertram Svenningsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute of the game Joar Sundberg made a throw-in which Risto Mihailovski played forward. With an all-out effort, Sällskapet BK's Keld Paulsen threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ain Trumm, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Stellan Söderberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 34th match minute, Sällskapet BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Risto Mihailovski to maneuver through the defense. After 37 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Lars Steen. 38 minutes into the match, Ain Trumm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ain Trumm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Joar Sundberg hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Chris Nygaard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stellan Söderberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ain Trumm struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sällskapet BK. Sällskapet BK's Thomas Danielsson got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Ain Trumm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After some careless play in the Sällskapet BK defense, Chris Nygaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stellan Söderberg. The Sällskapet BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stellan Söderberg should have stopped the shot. Stellan Söderberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Nygaard got free with Stellan Söderberg in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
