Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Denmark's Chris Nygaard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Kenn Skou. A throw-in in the 9th minute of the game was made by Hector Sarmiento with Martin Rito as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 12th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Sarmiento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Casomiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Mathias Ludvigsen lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Denmark fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, Martin Rito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Keld Paulsen, 2-0. Bertram Svenningsen kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Wilfredo Casomiro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kenn Skou in the 38 minute of the game. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Wilfredo Casomiro got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Rito struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento de Resistencia. Sarmiento de Resistencia were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Denmark's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tadeu Jacinto took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tadeu Jacinto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Keld Paulsen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Martin Rito made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Bertram Svenningsen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aaron Sarmiento. That made the score 2-1 in the 52 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Martin Rito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Martin Rito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rito in the 66th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Aaron Sarmiento to make any attempt to save it. Hector Sarmiento hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Rito, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Denmark's Lars Steen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hector Sarmiento, made in the 89th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aaron Sarmiento. Aaron Sarmiento yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Rito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denmark were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
