With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Wright in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Casper Claes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 21 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christoffer Modig was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Christoffer Modig. Oakcroft Thrashers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ian Wright went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christoffer Modig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. Oakcroft Thrashers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Oakcroft Thrashers getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ian Wright hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ian Wright made a kick off. Christoffer Modig made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Svante Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian Wright hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, Oakcroft Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Hellgren to maneuver through the defense. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Mattsson in the 84th minute of play. The Oakcroft Thrashers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Belgium had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
