Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robbie Lefevere started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Robbie Lefevere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Robbie Lefevere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robbie Lefevere succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 6th playminute. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cléber Souza. Cléber Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 12th minute Robbie Lefevere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Belgium's Simon Sabbe to a score. 1-2 in the 16th minute. Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Cléber Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Dervaux in the 20th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Cléber Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cléber Souza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Cléber Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Maxaranguape - FSCMZ got a corner. Belgium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arí Paiva ran over to the corner to take the kick. Robbie Lefevere scored 4-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Belgium may have spent more time on the ball, but Maxaranguape - FSCMZ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
