An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 34th minute of play forced MERT FC's goalkeeper Dursun Ekinci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Quinn Holmes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dursun Ekinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 41st minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Cox stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Micah Macdonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Dursun Ekinci made a huge save.
