Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Stefano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute of the match Castanheiro SC got a corner. Belgium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 陶渊伟 ran over to the corner to take the kick. Igor Ilyin made a great header on Castanheiro SC's corner, it was just that Belgium's Casper Claes managed to reach the ball for a save. Wincent Dropinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. Igor Ilyin hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Rodolfo Sergipano's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Sergipano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Belgium booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Stefano to make the kick off. Castanheiro SC's Alfredo Stefano got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wincent Dropinski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Dropinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Wincent Dropinski made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Alfredo Stefano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Alfredo Stefano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robben Spoelberchs kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Belgium's corner Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wincent Dropinski quite easily take care of the ball. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Wincent Dropinski in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Castanheiro SC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Belgium had controlled the match.
