Denis Paulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Lombroso's Uriel Ferrer. But to his dismay, Uriel Ferrer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Riquelme. In the 24th minute, Major Barna made a precise shot to the right of Denis Paulin. Defensores de Lombroso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 26 minutes into the game, Uriel Ferrer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel. Uriel Ferrer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After some careless play in the Defensores de Lombroso defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Paulin. The Defensores de Lombroso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Paulin should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Katona Janos got a free kick in the 35th minute. Takacs Tibor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Riquelme got free with Fodor Daniel in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. Denis Paulin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 51st minute of the match. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute Hegedus Henrik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Paulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Katona Janos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hungary's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Lombroso the free kick. Defensores de Lombroso's Amadeo Raebert was substituted for Lucio Cordarrol. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hungary fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! In the 70th minute, Roman Riquelme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Vörös Henrik. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Sauveur in the 72nd minute of play. Denis Paulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Federico Pirro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Defensores de Lombroso's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Godfredo Gau in the 82nd minute. Amadeo Raebert made a great header on Defensores de Lombroso's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Hungary booed when Defensores de Lombroso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Riquelme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Paulin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 89th minute of the match. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Denis Paulin made a huge save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Defensores de Lombroso were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
