Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dimitris Vasilakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 6th minute. Sigfrido Auletta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Sabit Piruz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Italy's Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Sigfrido Auletta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Italy's Siricio Liotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cui Yun Nan in the 18 minute of the game. Sabit Piruz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Flavio Vittori when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Trifillia.FC booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porziano Marchitelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kostas Proestos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Bekos in the 26th minute of play. If Sabit Piruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 31st minute of play forced Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Vasilakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes of play, Italy's Porziano Marchitelli made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitris Vasilakos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sigfrido Auletta kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cui Yun Nan during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kostas Proestos got free with Flavio Vittori in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Italy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lu Yin Cheng was slow to take the kick. During this time Trifillia.FC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Christos Bekos heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sabit Piruz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Trifillia.FC's Kostas Proestos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Vittori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabit Piruz in the 58th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siricio Liotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dimitris Vasilakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitris Vasilakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Kostas Proestos took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Trifillia.FC made a substitution. Dimitris Vasilakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Soulis Vakros came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Dimitris Vasilakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Soulis Vakros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Soulis Vakros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Dimitris Vasilakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Curto in the 98th minute of play. Italy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
