Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When ЦСКА's Belcho Hlebarov in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Czech Republic's goalie prevented a goal. 1-0 became the score in the 12th minute when Belcho Hlebarov elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Belcho Hlebarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. Denis Dostal kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Anzhelo Gerushin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Dostal in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Jilek in the 29th minute of play forced ЦСКА's goalkeeper Anzhelo Gerushin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ЦСКА's Venko Loginov managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dalimil Charvat in the 30 minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belcho Hlebarov. In the 38th minute, Belcho Hlebarov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ЦСКА fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. After 42 minutes, Alan Rezek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Czech Republic and the ЦСКА players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ЦСКА booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Rezek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Jilek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Erik Jilek hit a great ball. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belcho Hlebarov in the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, ЦСКА's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Jilek came free, but Anzhelo Gerushin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ЦСКА's Belcho Hlebarov got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alan Rezek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belcho Hlebarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Belcho Hlebarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belcho Hlebarov in the 73rd minute of the match. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belcho Hlebarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Svatopluk Capek's late challenge caught a ЦСКА's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Svatopluk Capek helped the player get up and apologised. Svatopluk Capek hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Vavrinec Holub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belcho Hlebarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Belcho Hlebarov in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vavrinec Holub saved Czech Republic from getting behind. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lyuboslav Popinski in the 86th minute of play. Denis Dostal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bilyan Fudulov fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ЦСКА's protests and gave Bilyan Fudulov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ЦСКА getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Bilyan Fudulov hit a great ball. ЦСКА's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
