EL MAGO ONEILL's Istvan Kowalski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save EL MAGO ONEILL from getting a goal against them. The Sumalao FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. EL MAGO ONEILL were winning 0-2.

EL MAGO ONEILL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Generoso Ihazintu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. 75 minutes into the match, EL MAGO ONEILL's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Ihazintu came free, but Istvan Kowalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Istvan Kowalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Refugio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Miguel Refugio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Istvan Kowalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes of play, Sumalao FC's Miguel Refugio made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. It was a well-played corner which Miguel Refugio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
