Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stanny Van Wontergem took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, YR Mechelen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pino Van Mechelen to maneuver through the defense. Maarten Mur scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vincent Van Mechelen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maarten Mur struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Vincent Van Mechelen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mockfjärd. Vincent Van Mechelen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maarten Mur's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Mockfjärd's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Gwen Shamp scored to the left of an out of position Pablo Campodónico, making the score, 1-1. Gwen Shamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maarten Mur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. YR Mechelen's Vincent Van Mechelen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maarten Mur in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Bo Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mockfjärd's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo Ekström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincent Van Mechelen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the game, Mockfjärd's Bo Ekström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vincent Van Mechelen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Mockfjärd's Maarten Mur got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Mockfjärd were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bo Ekström to strike the kick off in the second half. Bo Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Van Mechelen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maarten Mur in the 58th minute of play forced YR Mechelen's goalkeeper Vincent Van Mechelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanny Van Wontergem in the 60th minute of play forced Mockfjärd's goalkeeper Pablo Campodónico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st match minute, YR Mechelen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Pieter Koninckx to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the game, Mockfjärd's Maarten Mur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vincent Van Mechelen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Vincent Van Mechelen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bo Ekström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 66 minute of play. A collision led to YR Mechelen getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Corneel Van Mechelen hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Maarten Mur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maarten Mur struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Vincent Van Mechelen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mockfjärd. Tobias Smidts kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Vincent Van Mechelen came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Mockfjärd's Bo Ekström. But to his dismay, Bo Ekström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Mockfjärd made a substitution. Michel Wenerdahl replaced Jonas Kvarnström. Maarten Mur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl Hedkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85th minute, Maarten Mur fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Maarten Mur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Van Mechelen having to interfere. When Karl Hedkvist came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Mockfjärd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Hedkvist couldn't finish the play. Mockfjärd's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
