A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Juan Estebanez with Breogan Tamajon as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Osvaldo Furlan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Istvan Kowalski. That made the score 1-1 in the 84 minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Germán Kanø managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
