Cambotinha EC's Peter Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xande Cavani in the 10th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inácio Romero got free with Bernt Ånger in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Bernt Ånger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save VERDOLAGA CITY FC from getting a goal against them. Peter Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xande Cavani in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of VERDOLAGA CITY FC booed when Cambotinha EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cido Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Rashford, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Peter Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oriol Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goal looked a bit too open when Xande Cavani came free, but Peter Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xande Cavani took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Čech. Peter Čech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Inácio Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inácio Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Cambotinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Romero. Peter Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xande Cavani, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Peter Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oriol Loyola in the 38th minute of the match. Cambotinha EC's Peter Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oriche Isazi in the 41st minute of play. Bernt Ånger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramiro Brasil hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xande Cavani in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Čech saved Cambotinha EC from getting behind. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Xande Cavani made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cambotinha EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcus Rashford was slow to take the kick. During this time VERDOLAGA CITY FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 55th match minute, VERDOLAGA CITY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Klimkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Oriol Loyola took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Čech. Peter Čech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 60 minutes into the game, Marcus Rashford recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peter Čech. Marcus Rashford showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xande Cavani in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Čech saved Cambotinha EC from getting behind. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cambotinha EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcus Rashford was slow to take the kick. During this time VERDOLAGA CITY FC's players had a chance to rest. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Xande Cavani sped through Cambotinha EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Peter Čech. Peter Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oriol Loyola in the 70th minute of the match. Peter Čech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oriche Isazi in the 72nd minute. If Oriche Isazi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th match minute, VERDOLAGA CITY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Rashford to maneuver through the defense. Vitinho de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Čech made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Xande Cavani sent off a good shot on target. André Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Bernt Ånger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xande Cavani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton Faria in the 92nd minute of play forced VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goalkeeper Bernt Ånger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oriche Isazi got free with Peter Čech in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 95 minutes, Inácio Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cambotinha EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. VERDOLAGA CITY FC played a much better game than Cambotinha EC and deserved their victory. The Cambotinha EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
