Sumalao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Refugio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute, Sonny Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Sumalao FC's Generoso Ihazintu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pablo Campodónico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 12 played minutes Mockfjärd got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Hedvall. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Generoso Ihazintu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nils-Åke Hedvall kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Pablo Campodónico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Refugio in the 27th minute of the match. If Miguel Refugio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sumalao FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Claudio Ramone hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, Maarten Mur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mockfjärd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sumalao FC the free kick. A collision led to Mockfjärd getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Maarten Mur hit a great ball. Martin Jeraldo was slow to take the kick. During this time Sumalao FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Sumalao FC's Ramon Abajas to fire away a dangerous shot which Pablo Campodónico despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Mockfjärd getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Petter Lindell hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bo Ekström was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Miguel Refugio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute Generoso Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Campodónico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Mockfjärd got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Hedvall. The audience was convinced that Miguel Refugio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pablo Campodónico was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Miguel Refugio scored 2-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pablo Campodónico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 70th play minutes Bo Ekström shot 2-1, a short shot which went by 范翀树 and just under the crossbar into goal. When Mockfjärd's Maarten Mur in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sumalao FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75thth minute of the game Maarten Mur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sumalao FC's 范翀树 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carmelo Elazar kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, 范翀树 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Refugio in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Campodónico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nestor Ortigoza during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 范翀树 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maarten Mur in the 88th minute of play. Pablo Campodónico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Refugio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Mockfjärd's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Refugio came free, but Pablo Campodónico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sumalao FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
