In the 96th minute of the match Morteros got a corner. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tobias Lleir ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Tobias Lleir almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Bernt Ånger did a great save. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
