Gary Ingram was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Inge Askelöf showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 20 minute of play. In the 23rd minute, SoPpÅkArNa's Fredrik Bergman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gary Ingram. Gary Ingram yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Gary Ingram showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Granado, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Korona Kielce's goal looked a bit too open when Inge Askelöf came free, but Gary Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Korona Kielce's Dave Legzdins to fire away a dangerous shot which Joel Kruuse despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chesney Summers was the one to do the kick off. Jacek Kielb's late challenge caught a SoPpÅkArNa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chesney Summers in the 52nd minute of play forced SoPpÅkArNa's goalkeeper Joel Kruuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Korona Kielce's Gary Ingram played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Henriksson in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, SoPpÅkArNa's Isaiah Jesus got a free kick in the 95th minute.
