Radowit Ogrodowicz got in the 6th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Luc Van Hinnendael handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Szczakowianka's goalkeeper Zula Kosiorek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Philip Verhasselt. Zula Kosiorek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mac Mon in the 9th minute of play. Luc Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Perkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Bruges's Mac Mon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zula Kosiorek. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Ogrodowicz in the 17th minute of play. Zula Kosiorek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavies Muñagorri in the 20th minute of play. Luc Van Hinnendael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Ogrodowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Xavies Muñagorri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Zula Kosiorek made a huge save. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luc Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Perkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radowit Ogrodowicz in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luc Van Hinnendael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedykt Perkowski went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute Mac Mon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zula Kosiorek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Szczakowianka defense, Mac Mon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zula Kosiorek. The Szczakowianka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zula Kosiorek should have stopped the shot. Luc Van Hinnendael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yan Chen Yan's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xavies Muñagorri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Philip Verhasselt hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Eguzki. When Bernardo Urtzi came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the FC Bruges fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Urtzi couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Xavies Muñagorri managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bruges's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavies Muñagorri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zula Kosiorek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luc Van Hinnendael was a little too slow when Donald Voldfrom got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedykt Perkowski got free with Luc Van Hinnendael in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FC Bruges booed when Szczakowianka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Eguzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Antonio Eggers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, Benedykt Perkowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luc Van Hinnendael. Benedykt Perkowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Luc Van Hinnendael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roger Vianna in the 84th minute. Mac Mon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zula Kosiorek having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Donald Voldfrom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szczakowianka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bruges the free kick. In the 96th minute, Donald Voldfrom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Szczakowianka's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
