Luc Van Hinnendael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Sági in the 23rd minute of the match. BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's Sirod Rayadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shen Shi Mo in the 24th minute of play. Sirod Rayadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavies Muñagorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Shen Shi Mo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sirod Rayadi. BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shen Shi Mo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, BOLDOG MADRIDISTÁK's goal looked a bit too open when Shen Shi Mo came free, but Sirod Rayadi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xavies Muñagorri to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Xavies Muñagorri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bruges fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Thanks to some nice moves Ken Brogren could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Sirod Rayadi however easily saved by the left post.
