The corner ended in Tiaguinho Mandrak almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. In the 9th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wachirapong Wattanachinda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clube do Remo MZ's Wachirapong Wattanachinda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 12th minute of play. Virgill Van Dijk hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Portugal's Felipe Barreto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Clube do Remo MZ. Wachirapong Wattanachinda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 23rd minute of play forced Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Wachirapong Wattanachinda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wachirapong Wattanachinda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 76th minute. In the 95th minute of the match, Bartolomeu Dias tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wachirapong Wattanachinda saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
