After a rather tough play, Croatia's Dinko Stankovic got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Santos in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Patrik Terzic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Croatia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave APOELHELLAS the free kick.
