With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zafer Yalçıner in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. If Frank Peletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, France's Frank Peletier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stanislav Dvorskiy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 17th minute of play forced Resistencia Tayrona FC's goalkeeper Stanislav Dvorskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Manzanal's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alessandro Manzanal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, one of Resistencia Tayrona FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Resistencia Tayrona FC. Resistencia Tayrona FC:s Stanislav Dvorskiy showed great skill when he stopped David Barbier:s penalty. When Zafer Yalçıner came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Resistencia Tayrona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zafer Yalçıner couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute Xusto Lasquibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanislav Dvorskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 32nd minute of play. Maxime Durand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zafer Yalçıner went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Frank Peletier made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Ingmar Kracke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Resistencia Tayrona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingmar Kracke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stanislav Dvorskiy made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 55th minute of play forced Resistencia Tayrona FC's goalkeeper Stanislav Dvorskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanislav Dvorskiy came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by France's Camille Baume. But to his dismay, Camille Baume quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 59 minutes into the game, Frank Peletier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Stanislav Dvorskiy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Resistencia Tayrona FC's Zafer Yalçıner in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye France's goalie prevented a goal. Resistencia Tayrona FC made a substitution. Inguma Espejo replaced Xusto Lasquibar. Frank Peletier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Resistencia Tayrona FC made a substitution. Santxo Bango replaced Ingmar Kracke. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Zafer Yalçıner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resistencia Tayrona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zafer Yalçıner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bermudo Uranga kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Frank Peletier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Stanislav Dvorskiy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 93rd match minute, Resistencia Tayrona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santxo Bango to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Stanislav Dvorskiy managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when France's Frank Peletier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. France were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
