Ulises Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in CD INDEPENDIENTE's zone, Ulises Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Mondragon came out of the goal and Ulises Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giovani Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Mondragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Mondragon came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Isle Of Dogs AFC's Ulises Duarte. But to his dismay, Ulises Duarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Isle Of Dogs AFC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Isle Of Dogs AFC's Luis Molina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luis Molina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Marcelo Mondragon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Mondragon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Molina's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Marcelo Mondragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Molina, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, CD INDEPENDIENTE's Eliseo Rey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Palencia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcelo Mondragon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Molina went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. CD INDEPENDIENTE's Marcelo Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Molina in the 47th minute of play.

55 minutes into the game, Nicolás Amaya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Isle Of Dogs AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD INDEPENDIENTE the free kick. After a rather tough play, Isle Of Dogs AFC's Nicolás Amaya got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Luis Molina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Mondragon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Molina in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Ulises Duarte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelo Mondragon. The goal made the score 0-4. Marcelo Mondragon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giovani Ramos in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolás Amaya got free with Marcelo Mondragon in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Luis Molina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Duarte in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Mondragon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, CD INDEPENDIENTE's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Duarte came free, but Marcelo Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Mondragon was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Luis Molina capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luis Molina really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Ulises Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edgardo Mora fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD INDEPENDIENTE's protests and gave Edgardo Mora a yellow card for diving instead. Edgardo Mora kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Marcelo Mondragon didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. 87 minutes into the game, Ulises Duarte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelo Mondragon. Ulises Duarte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Menjivar during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st match minute, CD INDEPENDIENTE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Menjivar to maneuver through the defense. After 94 minutes CD INDEPENDIENTE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zelvin Barquero who took care of the corner kick. Ulises Duarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Mondragon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulises Duarte ran back to his position shaking his head. Isle Of Dogs AFC played a much better game than CD INDEPENDIENTE and deserved their victory. The CD INDEPENDIENTE players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
