Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dartford's Marcelo Corpeño started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Corringham's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alexis Fuentes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dartford's Alexis Fuentes got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th match minute, Dartford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Ventura to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Brizuela in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Cortez saved Dartford from getting behind. A collision led to Corringham getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ernesto Moreno hit a great ball. Arnoldo Peña charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Peña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Arnoldo Peña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Marcelo Corpeño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odir Osorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Villatoro during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Victorino Villatoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Brizuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ivan Batres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagoberto Ventura's late challenge caught a Corringham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dagoberto Ventura helped the player get up and apologised. If Diego Brizuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diego Brizuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Guillermo Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Dartford's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Brizuela came free, but Guillermo Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Diego Brizuela came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Corringham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Brizuela couldn't finish the play. With his leg Odir Osorio managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Dartford's Alexis Fuentes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 44th minute, Humberto Parada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Marcelo Corpeño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Brizuela to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Diego Brizuela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dartford's Guillermo Cortez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexis Fuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odir Osorio having to interfere. If Diego Brizuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Peña kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Odir Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Fuentes in the 69th minute of play. When Marcelo Corpeño came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Dartford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Corpeño couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Batres got free with Guillermo Cortez in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the game, William Bran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dartford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corringham the free kick. William Bran hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute of the match Ernesto Moreno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guillermo Cortez skillfully saved the ball. If Ivan Batres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Batres struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Guillermo Cortez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corringham. Corringham's Ivan Batres got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Dartford got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Renderos. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dartford fans cheered their team off the field, for while Corringham had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
