Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Angel Quintanilla made the kick off which started today's match. Newlyn East's Josue Giron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Escobar in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Newlyn East getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Will Meza hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match Pedro Pacheco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Josue Giron showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Patricio Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Quintanilla in the 20th minute of the match. Zelvin Anaya's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Patricio Moreno firmly grabbed it by the left post. Josue Giron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Costas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 26 minutes, Angel Quintanilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newlyn East's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Quintanilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angel Quintanilla's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 35th minute, Zelvin Anaya made a precise shot to the right of Patricio Moreno. East Grinstead United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Josue Giron didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillermo Escobar went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Newlyn East's Augusto Villanueva got a free kick in the 48th minute. It was beautiful to see East Grinstead United's Saul Díaz in action when he in the 50th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Escobar made a kick off. Josue Giron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Cortez, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Zelvin Anaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Angel Quintanilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zelvin Anaya in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Pablo Vinosis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. East Grinstead United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newlyn East the free kick. Pablo Vinosis hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Patricio Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zelvin Anaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Esteban Costas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Josue Giron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Zelvin Anaya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but East Grinstead United's Patricio Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zelvin Anaya struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Patricio Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newlyn East. Patricio Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Quintanilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Quintanilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Patricio Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteban Costas came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Josue Giron could save by the left post. Guillermo Escobar hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After having played for 98 minutes, Douglas Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newlyn East's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
