Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Arsenio Fernado started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 12th minute, Arsenio Fernado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nereo Lopes. The goal made the score 1-0. Arbolito's Nereo Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Arbolito from getting a goal against them. In the 20th match minute, Arbolito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Gorosti to maneuver through the defense. Ojinaga Chihuahua's Ricardo Bastia got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ojinaga Chihuahua's Raimundo Hermelando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Licerio in the 29th minute of play. Nereo Lopes made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Ricardo Bastia sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albino Rutenio made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Ojinaga Chihuahua's Abel Tabb got a free kick in the 55th minute. Albino Rutenio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Diaz's late challenge caught a Ojinaga Chihuahua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Diaz helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 80 minutes, Arsenio Fernado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ojinaga Chihuahua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Fernado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arsenio Fernado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nereo Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anibal Licerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Raimundo Hermelando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Ojinaga Chihuahua's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Gorosti came free, but Raimundo Hermelando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Hermelando stood somewhat misplaced when Albino Rutenio came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 94 minute.
