Rafael Feo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvaro Abascal hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Gilberto Platon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Rio, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 17th minute, one of Lafinur:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lafinur. The supporters of Lafinur booed when Piquirenda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Luar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gaudencio Rio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaudencio Rio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Platon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Rio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Semeno having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Angelo Walme recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Blas Semeno. Angelo Walme showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaudencio Rio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Abascal hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Gilberto Platon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaudencio Rio. Lafinur's Blas Semeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Feo in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Edelmiro Felipillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blas Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Feo in the 67th minute of the match. When Gaudencio Rio came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Lafinur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Rio couldn't finish the play. Blas Semeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Feo in the 74th minute of play. Carolo Elequemedo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Gaudencio Rio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gilberto Platon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gaudencio Rio came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Lafinur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Rio couldn't finish the play. Blas Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Feo in the 87th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Piquirenda FC's Angelo Walme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blas Semeno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gaudencio Rio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piquirenda FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lafinur for a fine match.
