Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Honorato Beat took the kick off in the first half of the match. Carmelo Quinten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carlos Ekaitz fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salseros FC's protests and gave Carlos Ekaitz a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Ekaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Honorato Beat notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Salseros FC's Venancio Giraldo. Venancio Giraldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Honorato Beat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Giraldo having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Carmelo Quinten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venancio Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Quinten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Salseros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Beat came free, but Venancio Giraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Quinten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Venancio Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascual Balesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Gilen in the 26th minute of play. Venancio Giraldo came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Verna AFC's Gabriel Erauso. But to his dismay, Gabriel Erauso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Venancio Giraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Quinten in the 43rd minute of play. Venancio Giraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Beat, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felipe Gilen made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Virgilio Bikendi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salseros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Beat in the 60th minute of play forced Salseros FC's goalkeeper Venancio Giraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Beat in the 65th minute of play forced Salseros FC's goalkeeper Venancio Giraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venancio Giraldo made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Carmelo Quinten sent off a good shot on target. If Carmelo Quinten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Salseros FC's Felipe Gilen in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Verna AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Felipe Gilen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Verna AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Salseros FC a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Horacio Maties, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Verna AFC's Pascual Balesio. 2-3. The audience was convinced that Honorato Beat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Venancio Giraldo was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. The Salseros FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Verna AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Verna AFC.
