Esteve Lordi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siro Sancho's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Aristides Fresco kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Jeremias Jaunzuria struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Lucas Cristofol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malagueño AFC. Roque Niva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lucas Cristofol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Malagueño AFC's Jeremias Jaunzuria made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Cristofol was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Niva in the 35th minute of play forced Serrano's goalkeeper Lucas Cristofol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Lordi made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Segundo Oihenarte sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 43 minutes, Jesus Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malagueño AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Toribio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aristides Fresco's late challenge caught a Malagueño AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aristides Fresco helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeremias Jaunzuria was the one to do the kick off. Lucas Cristofol was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Roque Niva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roque Niva really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquin Fernado got free with Lucas Cristofol in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roque Niva succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 61st playminute. In the 66thth minute of the game Jeremias Jaunzuria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Serrano's Lucas Cristofol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roque Niva got free with Lucas Cristofol in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 70 played minutes, Serrano's Amancio Rufio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Esteve Lordi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Serrano reached it. If Jeremias Jaunzuria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Lordi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siro Sancho's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Roque Niva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Lucas Cristofol made a huge save. Roque Niva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Cristofol having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Jeremias Jaunzuria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucas Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Jaunzuria in the 97th minute of play. Malagueño AFC played a much better game than Serrano and deserved their victory. The Serrano players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
