Pastor Vistruario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Cuervo FC's goalkeeper Pastor Vistruario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robustiano Benet. If Robustiano Benet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Lidon hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Transito AFC's Fernan Asteri couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cuervo FC. In the 23rd match minute, Transito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Eutor to maneuver through the defense. Transito AFC's Robustiano Benet got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cuervo FC's Melquiades Emeterio got a free kick in the 27th minute. Segundo Eudoxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Pastor Vistruario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Hermengildo Montay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes Transito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Eutor. Segundo Eudoxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Pastor Vistruario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cuervo FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Melquiades Emeterio hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Transito AFC's Federico Lidon got a free kick in the 54th minute. Guaberto Herauso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Antonio Azibar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Guaberto Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Azibar having to interfere. Transito AFC's Antonio Azibar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Transito AFC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 61 minutes, Guaberto Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuervo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Herauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Herauso got free with Antonio Azibar in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Guaberto Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Transito AFC booed when Cuervo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Bemabe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Hermengildo Montay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Vistruario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the match Fernan Asteri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pastor Vistruario skillfully saved the ball. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuervo FC's goalkeeper Pastor Vistruario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cuervo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Transito AFC.
