The score was now 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Severino Ovando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Copacabana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrechines the free kick. A collision led to Copacabana getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Severino Ovando hit a great ball. Abel Lastur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Teofilo Totakoxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Delmiro Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmiro Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Totakoxe having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Bernabe Vigil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Copacabana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrechines the free kick. After a rather tough play, Copacabana's Bernabe Vigil got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Arrechines's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Lastur came free, but Teofilo Totakoxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teofilo Totakoxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Lastur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmiro Licerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Abel Lastur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Arrechines getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Artemio Ponciano hit a great ball. Arrechines's Teofilo Totakoxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Lastur in the 44th minute of play. When Artemio Ponciano fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arrechines's protests and gave Artemio Ponciano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Artemio Ponciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmiro Licerio struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Teofilo Totakoxe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Copacabana. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Arrechines's Teofilo Totakoxe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Arrechines from getting a goal against them. Artemio Ponciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Reynaud Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Macerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Primitivo Macerio came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Arrechines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Macerio couldn't finish the play. The Arrechines fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Arrechines's Primitivo Macerio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 70th minute Primitivo Macerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaud Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofilo Totakoxe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severino Ovando went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Apolo Enaut might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaud Suarez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Apolo Enaut ran back to his position shaking his head. Delmiro Licerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Teofilo Totakoxe made a huge save.
